Wolfman Reviewed

As seen on www.lagrandelife.com

Got to check out Wolfman this last Tuesday, as per the request of the noble Facebook voters, and I am not so sure about it as a whole.  Did get to see it on the big screen in the ol' Granada...way awesome!

I felt like the makeup was quite well put together.  I've heard many people say that Rick Baker still has it and I would have to agree.  It was a combination of the old Lon Chaney stuff with a new age flair.
Effects were quite good.  If they were using cable work it was very hard to tell.

I thought the story was very convoluted with typical Americanized twists added to keep you interested and on the edge of your seat.  It's not like the Wolfman gutting people is going to do that?  I mean we really need the twist with Anthony Hopkins really being a Werewolf as well so that we can understand his pathetic reasoning for causing all the mayhem?  How about we ride on Bencio Del Torro's shoulders and just deal with the idea of the Wolfman terrorizing the countryside.  No rhyme, no reason, just terror that has to be stopped.

It is leaving on Thursday, March 4 2010 from the Granada.

I'd give it 2.5 out of 5.
Chuck
